The following map will show where we went on the Camino last year, and where we are going this year. Last year Joe and I in May, then Judy and I in September, were on the Camino Frances, shown as yellow dots from France across the north of Spain, ending at Santiago. This year we will be on the purple route north from Porto to Santiago (kind of—-Details on the next map).
This is a more detailed map of the Portuguese coastal route we will be on. You can see the coastal route running along the coast from Porto north, to where it cuts inland to join the central route at the border with Spain. On this map you can also see Finisterre, literally “The End of the Earth” where we will travel by bus to take a day trip from Santiago after we are done walking.
