The countdown has begun. In 7 days I will be boarding a plane for Dallas, then Heathrow, then Madrid. My sister may or may not be coming, depending on my nephew’s health, so I may be taking the trip of a lifetime with my sister’s friend Judy.
So, to get ready, here is what I have to do in the next week–
- Get euros from the safe deposit box to get me started. Done.
- Wash all clothes and start laying them out together. Done.
- Get out the packing list and start digging for essentials. In progress.
- Photocopy essential documents for Judy. Done.
- Empty out phone memory.
- Buy additional packing cubes, socks, fanny pack, water bottle and gaiters. Changed my mind, not doing this.
- Solocit special intentions prayers to take to St. James. More on that later.
